Dial 1 for UK - tour
Dial 1 for UK began life in 2024 through Vital Xposure’s Well Springs Writers Programme, supporting Deaf, disabled, and neurodivergent writers.
The first 20-minute showcase was presented at Soho Theatre in February 2024.
Following this, the piece was further developed with director Phil Willmott, leading to a rehearsed reading at Barons Court Theatre in May 2024, supported by Leo Baccia. Later that year, it featured in previews at the Bitesize Festival, Riverside Studios, before travelling to Canada in October 2024 for an industry showcase, and then to Mumbai in December 2024 to test its resonance with international audiences.
In 2025, the project was awarded the Keep It Fringe Grant, enabling its full staging at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe (Greenside Venues).
Now supported by NLPG Arts Council England, Dial 1 for UK will be touring the UK throughout autumn 2025, while discussions are underway for an International tour in 2026, alongside further UK venues.
